Technical Assistance Services for the Drafting, Supervision and Control of Emergency and Conservation Works in the networks managed by Canal de Isabel II.

Synopsis:

Service contract for Canal de Isabel II (the public company that manages the entire water cycle in the Community of Madrid) in the drafting and supervision of projects and conservation works for its hydraulic infrastructures, as well as the control of their maintenance and operation.

Projects and works have been carried out on more than 40 km of sewerage networks, and nearly 91 km of supply pipelines, including both trench renovations and galleries by means of mine execution, trenchless technology (microtunneling, sleeve, bursting, etc.), as well as projects for complementary installations to the networks: wastewater pumping stations, spillways, sluice gates, de-silting, storm tanks, work on reservoirs, lifting stations, etc.), as well as projects for installations complementary to the networks: wastewater pumping stations, spillways, sluice gates, desanders, storm tanks, work on reservoirs, drinking water elevators and the installation of photovoltaic panels in some of these installations. The BIM methodology has been used in this type of project for better visualisation.

Numerous technical reports related to water management have also been produced: flow curves in spillways, analysis of hydraulic transients in pressurised systems, sizing of hydro-pneumatic accumulators, studies of clean water supply to collectors, and hydrological-hydraulic studies (1D and 2D modelling).

As a sample of some representative works:

- Renovation by means of trenches for sewerage pipes of different materials (stoneware, GRP, PVC, HA) and large diameters >800 mm, and wastewater diversion with motor pumps during execution.

- Renovation using trenchless technology (sleeve) with ovoid section and equivalent diameter 1000/1500 mm.

- Pitch for the installation of sewage, rainwater and water supply collectors and impulsion under the A-5 in Alcorcón.

-Solar photovoltaic installation of 349 kWp on the roof of the Soto II reservoir in Soto del Real (Madrid).

- Construction project EBAR Sureste Rozas de Puerto Real.

- Project to renovate the distribution network in the Valquigoso urbanisation, with more than 8 km of supply network, including a water intake and two stream crossings.
