Technical Architecture students visit a KREAN construction site

A group of students from the UPV/EHU School of Engineering of Gipuzkoa had the opportunity to see first-hand the work of KREAN at the construction site of the new headquarters of CIDETEC Energy Storage, within the Intelligent and Sustainable Mobility Hub MUBIL in Eskuzaitzeta, San Sebastian. The visit, promoted by the people area of KREAN, was hosted by our colleagues Santi Pérez and Iñigo Retegui, architect and technical architect respectively.

The visit began at the construction site, where Santi and Iñigo introduced the university students to an overview of KREAN's work and areas of activity and then focused on the specific case studies of the construction site they were going to visit.

Once the presentations were over, the group went to the construction site, where they were able to see different spaces and stages/progress of the project and share in detail the different processes and disciplines involved in its execution, from the fields of design and project to materials and construction techniques, aspects related to health and safety, those associated with sustainability and environmental impact... The technical architects of tomorrow did not miss the opportunity to raise various questions that the experience generated in them, a physical and real landing in a world of design and construction in which they have placed their expectations for the future, their illusion.

For the KREAN team, it was a real pleasure to receive them and to contribute, albeit in a small way, to promote and make this dream come true, for which our doors are always open.

Finally, we would like to thank CIDETEC for their willingness, authorising and facilitating this visit to their new facilities.
