KREAN holds its annual meeting at EUSKALDUNA BILBAO

KREAN, S. Coop. has held, on Friday June 7th at the EUSKALDUNA BILBAO palace, the General Assembly of the Cooperative 2024, which was attended by more than 200 guests. At the meeting, the accounts and the management report for the 2023 financial year were approved by a large majority, described by the governing bodies of the MONDRAGON group's engineering and architecture firm as brilliant in terms of economic results and very satisfactory in terms of strategic positioning in the market.

Luis Anduaga, President of KREAN and host of the event, focused his speech on the presentation of the successful results for the 2023 financial year, which were subsequently approved, as well as other points that were debated and voted on at the proposal of the Governing Council of the cooperative.

Jon Berbel, KREAN's General Manager, first presented the quantitative objectives for the current fiscal year 2024, and then showed, in qualitative terms, his satisfaction with the level of fulfillment of the different actions envisaged in the Strategic Plan, which closes this year 2024. He closed his speech by advancing the foundations and the start-up of the first tables for the design of the next strategic cycle 2025/2028.

The speech by Marijo Pagaldai, Vice-President of Mondragon, focused on the presentation of the main data achieved by MONDRAGON's Engineering and Services division, and then extended the information on the corporation as a whole in 2023, highlighting the achievement of a very positive year for all the cooperatives that make it up.

The assembly also had a space for recognitions. On the one hand, the now classic “TEK” and “Viernes de Vanguardia” awards were presented to the best contributions in the fields of technical training and innovation, and on the other hand, the assembly gave a well-deserved recognition to the eight colleagues who have completed 25 years working in what is now KREAN.

At the conclusion of the assembly, the whole “KREAN family” shared a lunch and a photo session where, as every year, the close and emotional atmosphere of a meeting of colleagues and friends with the satisfaction of fulfilled duty and the illusion of continuing in the breach has prevailed.
