The cooperative KREAN has participated in the Project ‘Promotion of Digital Transformation in the Social Economy (Promo-TIC-Social), financed by the SECRETARIAT OF STATE FOR EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL ECONOMY of the MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND SOCIAL ECONOMY in the context of the Integral Plan for the Promotion of the Social Economy for the Generation of an Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Fabric. This Plan has been financed by the EUROPEAN UNION through the European funds ‘Next Generation EU’.
The ‘Promo-TIC-social’ project has pursued the Promotion of the Digital Transformation and Modernisation of a Grouping of 10 Cooperatives through joint technological and training inter-cooperation, as a means of tackling ICT developments that go beyond the individual capacity of each of them.
The Project has enabled the development of 7 Type-Activities linked to the Digital Transformation and Modernisation of the Cooperatives participating in it, with a total of 25 specific projects having been promoted.
A total of 31,474 people have been beneficiaries of the project, which has involved a total of 756 people directly associated with its implementation.
A total of 55 companies have participated as subcontractors of all the participating Cooperatives, of which 13 have been companies belonging to the social economy.
The Cooperatives participating in the ‘Promo-TIC-Social’ Project are very satisfied with the development of the Project and the results achieved. The project has been implemented properly and effectively, having achieved all the expected results and objectives.
The inter-cooperation experience has been very successful and, broadly speaking, the intention is to continue with it, through the MONDRAGON Corporation's Digitalisation Forum.
With regard to future prospects, the Promo-TIC-Social project will maintain its inter-cooperative nature through the aforementioned MONDRAGÓN Corporation's Digitalisation Forum.
It should also be noted that the support of the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy has been essential in order to be able to carry out a project of the characteristics of Promo-TIC-Social. The Cooperatives taking part in the project are therefore particularly grateful to the MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND SOCIAL ECONOMY and the EUROPEAN UNION for the financial support they have received.
