Commitment to equality

Equality

KREAN, in its desire to achieve equal opportunities for women and men, both in its internal structure and in the services that affect its customers, makes public its commitment as our company's drive to achieve this objective and as a strategic principle.

In order to carry out this purpose, KREAN has drawn up and implemented an Equality Plan which contemplates the objectives, strategies and practices to be adopted in matters such as access to employment, professional classification, promotion and training, remuneration, organisation of working time to favour, in terms of equality between women and men, the reconciliation of work, personal and family life, and the prevention of sexual harassment and harassment for reasons of sex.

To develop this commitment, a prior diagnosis was carried out to ascertain the company's initial situation in terms of equality, and technical advice was provided by an external company approved by Emakunde, the Basque Women's Institute.

As a measure of transparency in the implementation of the equality plan, an Equality Committee has been set up, made up of representatives of the company and the staff.

Being aware that people are the main protagonists in the adoption of these measures, their collaboration is encouraged in order to gather their opinions, needs and suggestions in this area. Likewise, fluid communication is maintained, both internally, to report on the progress of the process and the decisions prioritised in the equality plan, and externally, to project an image of the company in accordance with the principle of equality between women and men.
