Technical Assistance to the Works Management for the Widening of the Hernani South By-pass on the main road. GI-131

Synopsis:  

KREAN formed part of the Technical Assistance to Site Management with a multidisciplinary team made up of the head of the technical office, the site monitoring manager, topographers, geologists, specialists in structural calculations, environmental technicians and the health and safety coordinator.  

The works carried out involved the enlargement of the current Hernani South By-pass for the GI-131 road between the Hernani junction of the Urnieta By-pass and the Martindegi junction of the Urumea motorway.   

The total length of the motorway section was 2,420 m. 

Three viaducts were built:  (Portuko - 164 m in length, Urumea - 635 m, Martindegi - 70 m), 

The extension of five subways (P.I.-1+0, P.I.-2+3, P.I.-2+5, P.I.-2+7, P.I.-2+8) and a structure for the High Speed Train subway, as well as a number of walls and transverse drainage works.
