New actions in drinking water treatment plants in Navarre

KREAN's experience and know-how in the field of drinking water treatment is being put into practice in various actions in five Drinking Water Treatment Plants (DWTP's) in Navarre.

This time it is not a question of the creation of new plants (such as those designed and built in the Mancomunidades de Valdizarbe, Mairaga, Ultzanueta or in the town councils of Valtierra and Arguedas), but of various extensions, improvements and reforms in different existing installations.

At the Urtasun DWTP of the Mancomunidad de la Comarca de Pamplona, the reagent room is being refurbished and extended by installing an ozone installation, with a budget of €3m.

Two actions are being carried out at the DWTPs of the Mancomunidad de Mairaga. The Olóriz plant it is being extended with an oxidation treatment and a new sludge treatment, and the whole installation is also being automated, with a budget of €1.8m. The La Pedrera plant is being extended with a new treatment line, with an investment of €1m.

At the DWTP in the towns of Valtierra and Arguedas, the entire installation is being refurbished: pumping and reagents room, measurement and control, instrumentation, monitoring, energy efficiency, remote control and complete automation. The planned budget is €750,000.

Lastly, at the Mendaur DWTP, which belongs to the Malerreka Community, it is being improved and optimised, with recovery of wash water, recovery and treatment of sludge, programming and complete automation, with a budget of €300,000.

All these works corroborate KREAN's specialisation in the field of water treatment (both drinking and wastewater) and confirm it as one of the leading engineering companies in this field.
