The Galarreta site, with a surface area of 140,000 m², represents the extension of the Gipuzkoa Science and Technology Park.

The layout is divided into two distinct areas. One of them is designed to house the Orona IdeO project, an innovation space specialising in urban mobility, lifts and energy management in buildings. Led by Orona S.Coop., it brings together Mondragon University and several technology centres, including Ikerlan. The other is planned to house future companies that wish to set up in the Science and Technology Park.

The location of this project in Galarreta is the culmination of a long process of more than 4 years in which KREAN worked with Orona S.Coop. in the design of an Innovation and Business Promotion Park. The works carried out in the field of urban development include, among others, the Partial Plan, the Urbanisation Action Programme, the Reparcelling Project and assistance to the Joint Committee, the Urbanisation Project and the Works Management. KREAN also carried out the projects and construction management of Orona IdeO.
