Orona Ideo Innovation City for Orona, S. Coop.

Synopsis:

Located in the extension of the Miramón Technology Park, in Galarreta (Hernani), it involves the construction of 4 buildings that make up the Orona Ideo complex, seeking synergies between university, research and business. Composed of Orona Zero, Orona S Coop's headquarters and innovation centre, the A3 Reserch technology centre, for Ikerlan of the IK4 network, the Orona Foundation building, where the Engineering faculty of Mondragon University is located, and the more public areas and finally Orona Gallery, a space for meetings, training and the exhibition of subjects related to District Heating and renewable energies that make up the complex. The buildings communicate and interact below ground level, freeing up the outdoor spaces and looking after the urbanisation to use them for public spaces.
