The company Nomen Foods is dedicated to the packaging and marketing of rice, with its main facilities located in the heart of the Ebro Delta, surrounded by the rice fields that supply it. With approximately 700 rice producers and an annual production capacity of 120,000 tonnes, it is one of the largest rice companies in Spain.

As part of the Company's strategic commitment to offer innovative products to the market, and following intense R&D&I work, the new "Calidad1minuto" ready-to-eat dish has been launched, consisting of cooked rice presented in glass cups, a material never before used in this application, with an easy-open system, totally innovative .

In this project KREAN has worked in close collaboration with Nomen Foods, developing the process equipment projects (from rice feeding to final product packaging), auxiliary installations (steam, refrigeration installation, refrigerated water, compressed air...) and civil works. Always under criteria of maximum product quality, food safety, process efficiency and sustainability. KREAN has also carried out the management of investment aid.
