The project was created in order to carry out a transformation of the Alto Deba area, so that through the participation of citizen associations, companies and the authorities, the necessary measures can be taken so that in the future, and taking 2030 as the target, measures can be adopted to reduce energy consumption and emissions generated by the 7 main sectors of the area, including: Industry, Commerce, Buildings, Administration, Water, Solid Urban Waste and Transport.

To accomplish this, the starting point is the compilation and interpretation of data on energy consumption and CO2eq. emissions to determine the current state of the area, and by creating a tool based on MS Excel, and taking into account projections of available socio-economic data, to project the growth that both energy consumption and emissions will experience in the future, based on current growth scenarios and the scenario of sustainable growth.
