The objective of this project is to develop a sustainable and resilient regional and urban model for the Greater Mendoza area of work within the Emerging and Sustainable Cities Programme (ESC) of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

This objective is based on three basic components: Mitigation of Anthropogenic Warming, which is defined in this proposal as Climate Change Mitigation, Adaptation to Climate Change and Regional and Urban Development. To this end, the work is focused on three components to address these issues:

• Component 1: Greenhouse gas (GHG) emission inventory
• Component 2: Study of risks and Vulnerability of the city in the face of Climate Change
• Component 3: Urban growth study for the city
