- THE PROJECT
- Arco Norte logistics platform
- LOCATION
- Jilopetec, Mexico
Puerto de Liverpool is a Mexican company whose core business is running Liverpool and Fábricas de Francia department stores in Mexico. The supply of these shops depends upon an extensive distribution network that Liverpool has in place throughout Mexico.
As part of the growth and expansion process in which Liverpool is immersed, the company intends to develop a new logistics platform in Jilotepec (State of Mexico). The implementation of the platform will require the roll out of a Master plan for urban development, developed by KREAN in which current and future logistics operations will gradually be installed in an eco-sustainable environment applying the best operational and urban planning practices. The site will be developed gradually to accommodate logistics operations and future operations, guaranteeing the different supply processes and flows foreseen in Liverpool's expansion and growth plan.
Once the implementation of the logistics platform on this land was approved by the public authorities, KREAN developed the Master Infrastructure Plan, which will be implemented in phases. In the first phase of the project, the construction of the first two logistics warehouses for "Soft Line" and the first one for "Big Ticket" is foreseen, with a total of 370,990 m² of buildings, and their corresponding urbanisation, as foreseen in the Master Infrastructure Plan.
- Total plot area: 1,768,572 m².
- Urbanisation area: 1,056,517 m².
- Logist. built area: 1,083,018 m²
- Other built area: 39,848 m²
