Located in the urban area of Vitoria-Gasteiz, the residential complex integrates three different resources: a residence for the elderly with 100 places, a day centre also for the elderly with 25 places, and a residence for the physically handicapped with another 25 places.

The building is presented as a formal unit expressed in its external image through the simplification of its elements: a continuous concrete envelope modulated by means of slight nuances of depth and texture and the opening as a reflection of its internal activity; a window-type opening in the rooms and another larger one in the relationship spaces, blurring the exterior interior limits, accompanied by complete or partial frames that project over the façade, providing the necessary shading and accentuating its character.

KREAN has developed this facility for the company Arabarren and the Provincial Council of Alava (DFA), providing the design and direction together with the management of the development and construction.
