KREAN has worked with AMPO-POYAM almost from the very beginning, when, following the expansion of the foundry, machining was added and, subsequently, product and production expansions were carried out, leading to investments in buildings, lines and production infrastructures of which KREAN was the front-end of the engineering, such as the new machining shop and the adaptation of the plant to the new lay-outs. 

Thus, while fully respecting the building's programme proposed by AMPO and meeting, at their level, but to the same extent, the quality standards of the valves they produce, the design and construction of the building by KREAN optimised the manufacturing activity while at the same time demonstrating a the company's sincere commitment to the environment, such as renewable energy sources for power generation, and passive and active systems to minimise the environmental impact. In particular, the extensive green roof on the machining building, which covers an area of 6,800 m2, mitigates the effects of climate change, saves energy and helps to reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. In fact, it is estimated that 1 m2 of green roof absorbs 5 kg of CO2 per year, with AMPO managing to absorb something así like 30 tonnes of CO2/ year.
