KREAN carries out the design, works management and construction of the refurbishment of LAGUN ARO's headquarters in Arrasate (Gipuzkoa).

LagunAro has entrusted KREAN with the comprehensive refurbishment of its corporate headquarters in Arrasate-Mondragón, a refurbishment conceived with the utmost respect for the values of the original building, modernising its facilities to make them more sustainable and reorganising the spaces to meet the current needs of the people who make up the cooperative.

The building is a complex of glazed parallelepipeds resting on a stone base set into the Olandixo hillside. The curtain wall brings natural light into the offices and transmits coherence with LagunAro's values of transparency in management. Large glass enclosures allow the green roofs of the building to be enjoyed from inside the offices.

The textures and colours of the interior finishes, the temperature of the interior light... these are elements that are focused on bringing calm and warmth to the working environment. The comfort of the user and their day-to-day experience has been one of the backbones of the project.

The building has efficient air conditioning installations that in turn are supported by a communal biomass plant. Photovoltaic panels have been installed for self-consumption, motorised blinds, an efficient lighting system... All these equipment and systems are controlled centrally, allowing knowledge of consumption and its management.

The work covers more than 6,000 m2 and has been carried out in phases, in such a way that the activity of the headquarters has been maintained throughout the refurbishment process.
