To this end, the UN Global Compact supports companies to conduct their business in a responsible manner by aligning their strategies and operations with diez principios in the areas of human rights, labour rights, the environment and the fight against corruption. It also supports the implementation of strategic actions to make progress with the general objectives of the company , such as the the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN, with an emphasis on collaboration and innovation.
KREAN joined the United Nations Global Compact in 2011 with the aim of supporting the ten fundamental principles proposed by the United Nations regarding human rights, labour rights, respect for the environment and anti-corruption in KREAN's sphere of influence and work. Adherence stems from the commitment to make the Global Compact and its principles part of KREAN's culture, strategy and daily activities.
Since 2011, KREAN has worked on the direction of its business strategies and company culture, within the Mondragon Corporation, in the context of the United Nations Global Compact, publicly reporting annually on its progress in the implementation and endorsement of its principles and annually renewing its adherence and support for the Global Compact.
